"Now This" at the Art Center

September 2009 marked 60 years since WJMA AM first signed on the air in Orange, Virginia. "Now This" is a documentary on the first 35 years of WJMA radio. The Arts Center In Orange will be hosting a screening of the documentary on Saturday October 24, 2009 at 7pm.

"Now This" includes interviews with 30 people who were part of the creation and operation of the radio station during its first 35 years. The video also includes numerous vintage photographs and newspaper articles. One viewer has said "Many stories of extraordinary people and times were told in loving and humorous detail."

The Trailer

A longer version of the documentary with an additional 30 minutes of video and a second disc of "extras" will be released later this fall. Copies will be available at the branches of the Orange County Public Library and for sale at various locations
